TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

Jelisa McNeary

Teacher Appreciation Week is a national holiday celebrated in the United States of America which takes place in the first full week of May. It all started in 1984, when the National PTA designated the first week in May as a special time to honor the people who lend their passion and skills to educating our children. With that being said even though the week is over, there is ALWAYS time to appreciate our educators. If you see them, let them know how much you appreciate them. Maybe even shout them out on social media, reach out to your favorite teachers. If any of your schools are still accepting gifts, look into that, write thank you notes etc,... Let's just show our teachers some appreciation.
