Homecoming Week

Monday,Oct 4, 2021by Zayona Williams

Oct 4, 2021 was the kickoff of Homecoming Week at Blytheville High School. I interviewed Melissa Hill who is the Sponsor of Student Council. Melissa Hill is also over homecoming. When asked how she feels about homecoming this year, Hill answered with “I'm excited about homecoming this year. I think homecoming is going to be better than last year. I think homecoming is coming together.” Last year we couldn’t have a traditional homecoming because of covid. So it was really hard to do a lot of traditional activities. In fact, Hill said “With us being in the middle of a pandemic. It has limited us on certain activities, such as decorating the hallways, powder puff, etc.” She proceeded to say “that homecoming could've been better without covid.” But we are still celebrating and showing our school spirit!
