Fans Are Not Supporting the Chickasaws Anymore?
by: Rushawn Taylor
Seems to a Blytheville Highschool coach that fans are not supporting Chickasaw football as much as they should. One of the coaches made a social post about how empty the last football game of the season was last on the night of Friday November 8. He also provided pictures of the stands. The football coach stated that the boys did not have enough support and insisted that if they had more support from the fans they may have won the game. When I asked quarterback Jeremiah Northern what he thought about the fans not showing up to the game he couldn’t really say much. “Ummm, I was disappointed. I can’t expect everybody to care the way I do, but it still hurts,” said Northern. Many of the students parents were angered as well the night of the game.
