Dear Winnie

Dear Winnie,

We just got our report cards and lately I’ve been having trouble with my grades. They are currently very low and I don’t know what to do. I don’t feel like my classes are

hard, but I just don’t find them interesting enough to stay focused and do the work. HELP ME!! I need it.

Dear reader,

I suggest if possible move to a new desk away from friends. Being around friends usually keeps you from focusing on your school work. If you do move try motivating yourself by thinking “I'm in the mood to engaging in our lesson. Your self motivation wouldn’t change instantly, but if you keep telling yourself the right thing you will eventually find it easier. Also, just do your work!
