Friday October 11th, 2019 Blytheville High School had their homecoming Pep rally and football game against Green County Tech from Paragould, AR. During the Pep Rally a teacher announced the homecoming court which were Freshman Maids Zoe Hearty escorted by Jacob Duggin and Jelissa McNeary escorted by Demetric Buckley. Sophomore maids included Jalissa Jones escorted by Jermel Woods and Remington Pamkey escorted by Makai Rainer. Junior maids were Tatyana Caruthers escorted by Treqwan Hooper and Kennedee Nash escorted by Ellisijah Whaley. Senior maids were Nansi Moran-Rios escorted by Marcus Logan, Glenda Russell escorted by Rodarius Adams , and Shabrionna Thompson (Homecoming Queen) escorted by Willie Bell. Some of The students played “Tug-a-War” and ‘’Through the hole’’ with the Hula Hoops. The cheerleaders performed , The Dance team danced, and the band played. In the evening there was aHomecoming football game against Green County Tech. At the beginning of the game they announced the homecoming court as they walked with a family member. After that the game started, the team took the lead. The Chickasaw Marching Band March also featured their halftime show Infected. Then the game started again and the team took the win against GCT.
