Bestiny’s

Many people believe that young teens are not able to start a business and succeed. I believe young entrepreneurs are more creative and open minded and are willing to challenge old ideas to expand their business. Young entrepreneurs represent an important proportion of the population of business owners. According to Entrepreneurship Campus, one of the biggest advantages of getting started with entrepreneurship at a young age is the opportunity to learn important skills such as teamwork, networking, problem-solving, critical thinking, innovation, self-discipline, etc. All these skills can help in school performance and later in life.

Here is one entrepreneur in Arkansas who would like to tell the story behind her business:

Destiny Starks is an 18-year-old entrepreneur that lives in Blytheville, Arkansas. Starks was inspired to become an entrepreneur because she always wanted to become her own boss and do something she loves. Starks believes her business in the future will be world wide and for everyone to know about “Bestiny’s”. Bestiny’s was inspired by her mom's name and her name. Starks said “It's the best of me”. Starks started her business on October 2, 2020. Starks sells PopSockets, Lanyard Sets, AirPod Cases and iPhone accessories. One piece of advice Starks would give to young people wanting to start a business is “Start it, don't think about it, don't let anybody hold you back, save your money, and do it”. The mistakes Starks made but also learned from were “not being consistent could lead to people forgetting about you, and to make sure people know your name.” Let’s help Starks expand her business. Anything counts, maybe a share, a like, or even purchase of an item she sells. Starks social media is bestinyscom on FaceBook and @bestinyscom on Instagram. Let’s get her business more known and for her dream to come true of having Bestiny’s world wide.
